Audrey Esperanza Jensen

Audrey Esperanza Jensen was born on February 20th, 2008 at 8:58 p.m.. She was 20 inches long and weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces. We didn't find out the sex of our baby till she was born. During the entire pregnancy, most of our family was convinced that she would be a boy. So, when the nurse yelled, "It's a girl!" we were totally shocked! Now, we can't imagine being the parents of a baby boy. Audrey has a sweet temperament and is a lot of fun for her parents. Check out our web gallery link (on the right) for pictures of our sweetheart. So far she's a good eater and a good sleeper. She has regained her birth weight and then some. And the extra skin on her neck is filling out and has become a double chin. She has big feet and hands, and extremely long fingers and toes. She doesn't cry much, but she squeaks a lot. And when she's really hungry, she snorts like a pig. Mom and dad are doing well and adjusting to the sleep schedule of a newborn.
